Since Homelessness is a major action area for LWVBC, we're going to be adding a page on the Website providing links to important information. We'll let you know as soon as this page is up and running. In the meantime, there is an opportunity to become involved on August 18th:

WE NEED YOU!

We are working with LWV and other groups throughout the County to support the homeless. LWV LA developed a permanent supportive housing brochure (https://yesinmyla.org/) with the Mayor's office and is actively promoting new housing developments. Speakers are needed for neighborhood councils, churches, synagogues and other groups. We are needed to be actively involved with PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) on a West Carson development and this training would be excellent. Sandra Trutt and Lex Roman will conduct the training.

Please R.S.V.P. to s.trutt@verizon.net as she must let security know to let you in. There is plenty of parking around the area for as little as $5.
